I once worked at a software manufacturing company. During a very small meeting, the head data tech walked in, sat down, and rest his forehead on the conference room table. He wasn't a very dramatic guy, so this was a bit absurd. The three of us looked at each other:

"Uh, Gary... what's up?"
"My wife. She's ruining my life."

He proceeded to tell us that he had purchased a mail-order bride two years prior. While he worked she would spend all his money, buying her family luxuries like air-conditioners, tv's, etc. Now that he was broke all she did was yell at him and threaten to leave him.

I always imagined him winding up in prison for murder.

or he could let her leave, take away her (his) credit cards and make her work for her keep. sometimes the obvious is the best thing to do.
