Re: Sgt. Carmelo Rodriguez Served His Country with Honor by obfuscator on Monday, April 28 @ 08:26AM EST [user info | http://discharges.org/] | THAT was the clip they used for his "acting experience?" I thought his heroin scene in "Seven" was so much better. Freaked ME the fuck out. |

Re: Sgt. Carmelo Rodriguez Served His Country with Honor by Godseye on Monday, April 28 @ 12:11PM EST [user info] | You guys act like suing someone is a human right.. |
Re: Sgt. Carmelo Rodriguez Served His Country with Honor by FacelessAnonymity on Monday, April 28 @ 03:00PM EST [user info] | I think settling grievances with those who have wronged you is a human right, be it through a good ol' fashioned revenge killing (suitable for those societies who lack the benefit of the rule of law), or through a codified system of courts and laws.
The real brain fucker here is what is most paramount: the principle that everyone in our society is responsible for their actions, the military included, and should be subject to the same laws and punishments... or the desire to have a more effective military (since letting some soldiers die may, in some circumstances, be the most strategically sound option).
What do you all think? |

Re: Sgt. Carmelo Rodriguez Served His Country with Honor by NiggaHatingDolphin on Monday, April 28 @ 02:01PM EST [user info | http://www.ftvgirls.com] | Sucks, I totally called the whole "he's gonna croak when they interview him" part! I wonder if they could smell his emptied bowels from the next room. That'd be hard trying to conduct a serious interview with a constant wafting smell of shit grazing across your nose.
"So, what do you think about Mr. Rodrigu- phew! Do any of you have some vaporub I can put on my upper lip?" |

Re: Sgt. Carmelo Rodriguez Served His Country with Honor by Mofo on Monday, April 28 @ 03:39PM EST [user info] | Military law is not civilian law! If you are in the military you have significantly less rights criminally and civilly, you can get jailed for showing up late or disobeying an order, and there is no "right to privacy" in search and seizure etc. But the yes the VA is fucked, my grandfather was a retired admiral and wouldn't set foot in a VA hospital even though he could get free care there. |
Re: Sgt. Carmelo Rodriguez Served His Country with Honor by crapcats_revenge on Tuesday, April 29 @ 01:33AM EST [user info] | Your grandpa's son raised a dipshit. They don't mention the VA here because he would only have been eligible for VA care after he retired and became a veteran. He got DoD healthcare until then. I agree the VA should be dismantled and veterans eligible to get care in the normal system, but the VA does do a comparatively good job at dealing with the brain injury, mental health patients, and combat injury folks than civilian. |

Re: Sgt. Carmelo Rodriguez Served His Country with Honor by essequemodeia on Monday, April 28 @ 04:57PM EST [user info | http://torsky.org] | He died? I thought things were looking up for ol' sergeant skeletor. |
Re: Sgt. Carmelo Rodriguez Served His Country with Honor by crapcats_revenge on Tuesday, April 29 @ 01:38AM EST [user info] | I laughed, and then I felt deep shame. That is probably most sick joke ever. | Re: Sgt. Carmelo Rodriguez Served His Country with Honor by NiggaHatingDolphin on Tuesday, April 29 @ 03:09AM EST [user info | http://www.ftvgirls.com] | Hahahahaha, quality zinger Esse. You're back in my good graces, alongside Lindsay Lohan's titties circa 2004. |

Re: Sgt. Carmelo Rodriguez Served His Country with Honor by NeroAD on Monday, April 28 @ 05:00PM EST [user info] | Yet another problem with govt takeover of things like healthcare. Hard as hell to sue the govt for damages incurred because you weren't able to get a surgery fast enough, etc. |
Re: Sgt. Carmelo Rodriguez Served His Country with Honor by Gravesend on Monday, April 28 @ 05:39PM EST [user info] | Dick in a box! | Re: Sgt. Carmelo Rodriguez Served His Country with Honor by obfuscator on Monday, April 28 @ 06:10PM EST [user info | http://discharges.org/] | No, he's out, loud, and proud. | Re: Sgt. Carmelo Rodriguez Served His Country with Honor by NeroAD on Wednesday, April 30 @ 12:23AM EST [user info] | Doo doo head. *yawn* |
Re: Sgt. Carmelo Rodriguez Served His Country with Honor by crapcats_revenge on Tuesday, April 29 @ 01:35AM EST [user info] | So in this case you are advocating for the government's military to bring along private contractors to provide healthcare in Iraq? I think we're all impressed so far with the military contractors are doing over there. So much MORE efficient in terms of what it costs for private sector soldiers, and Halliburton hospitals in Iraq vs a hospital in the States. | Re: Sgt. Carmelo Rodriguez Served His Country with Honor by NeroAD on Wednesday, April 30 @ 12:21AM EST [user info] | Yeah. Halliburton provides all the care for the military in Iraq. Vetrans admin? Psssshhht.
This is an issue directly relating to fucked up bureaucracy. I therefore propose more govt. intervention in your life. |

Re: Sgt. Carmelo Rodriguez Served His Country with Honor by Jebes on Monday, April 28 @ 06:56PM EST [user info] | Thats why you should ALWAYS get a second opinion if its for something like this. That extra hour or two of waiting would have saved his life. People fuck up. Doctors do it all the time. I feel real bad for the guy and his family. I know someone this happened to. The same thing would have saved thier life too. |
Re: Sgt. Carmelo Rodriguez Served His Country with Honor by crapcats_revenge on Tuesday, April 29 @ 01:37AM EST [user info] | I don't think can get a second opinion for an entrance physical, and it's not something he was even apparently aware of. But I also question why he was just letting a puss-oozing wart fester for 8 years. |
